It’s natural for Juan Gabriel to take a stab at ‘Como Amigos’ considering her long-professed love for Army of Lovers. Como Amigos and El Pueblo De La Trizteza is really good.
El Pueblo De La Trizteza is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Once you hear En El Mundo Ya No Hay Paz, you will listen to it over and over. I came to like La Mas Querida. Lily is Juan Gabriel’s best work in years. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. No Tengo Dinero to me is the best you can get from Juan Gabriel. Tres Claveles Y Un Rosal - I like this one. The first time I listened to Voy A Comprobarte I was struck by its excellent sound.
