A Tribute To Judas Priest Legends Of Metal Vol. II isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Judas Priest has. Now signed to Judas Priest’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “A Tribute To Judas Priest Legends Of Metal Vol. II” leads Judas Priest’s back-to-school campaign. Great Metal right here!
I like the agression and power of Bloodstone (Stratovarius). Dissident Aggressor (Forbidden) is the song that really did it for me. First time I heard Dreamer Deceiver (Skyclad) was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Exciter (Gamma Ray) is possibly the best song Judas Priest has come up. I love the melodic melody of Grinder (Kreator) and to this day it makes me feel good. Love Bites (Nevermore) is absolutely incredible. In Night Comes Down (Leviathon) you won’t find any flashy solos. Painkiller (Angra) has a fun tempo. I think Screaming For Vengeance (Virgin Steel) is the best song Judas Priest has ever done. The Ripper (Iced Earth) is perfect work of Judas Priest. The Sentinel (Heavens Gate) without a doubt is the standout song of A Tribute To Judas Priest Legends Of Metal Vol. II. Tyrant (Overkill)) (4:01) - awsome.
