Lead single “Phase North” and “Phase East + West” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is the first studio album from Karunesh since bad diagnosis in 1996. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Karunesh on ‘Phase North’. Heart Chakra Meditation is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Phase East + West is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Phase South without a doubt is the standout song of Heart Chakra Meditation. Phase Circle - Karunesh first major hit. Song The Inner Temple is actually a funny song. Tibetan Sound Bowls to me is the best you can get from Karunesh.
