thirteen years ago, Kevin Russell briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “You Know I Love Ya”. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Kevin Russell. Self-described as Blues with lots of words, Kevin Russell comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Exciting stuff.
You Know I Love Ya is Kevin Russell’s best work in years. Nobody Elses Arms is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. I love the melodic melody of Alligator Alley and to this day it makes me feel good. I Tried is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. This track is a great song that still never gets old. Take It Like A Man is worth the money. You have to get essence of the You Got Something’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
