After seeing Enned, I had to have a good Kirlian Camera cd. Kirlian Camera was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Kirlian Camera and Solaris - The Last Corridor together. Lead single “Enned” and “The Eternal” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Enned and The Eternal is really good.
Listening to The Eternal you can hear that Kirlian Camera has still amazing chemistry with band members. Zentropa 1966 is probably one of Kirlian Camera’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Nocturnal Afternoon (Live) is a astounding, simple song by Kirlian Camera at the top of his game. Solars Iva the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Kirlian Camera sings his heart out in Mede Sankuo. Heaven’s Corridor (Dying Culture) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Kirlian Camera ever produced. The Theatre Of Dreams (Birkenau 1995) is a bit of a show-tune. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Excellent vocals and musical performances.
