The Dark Side Of The Moog 5 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Lead single “01″ and “02″ start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Klaus Schulze and Pete Namlook’s debut, ‘The Dark Side Of The Moog 5′, does not fit easily into one genre. Exciting stuff.
Within the first few notes of 02 it’s perfectly clear that Klaus Schulze and Pete Namlook is living this song. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. 04 the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. There is marvelous mix of music in 05. Lyrics of 06 are precise and evocative. 07 is perfect. As always, Klaus Schulze and Pete Namlook’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again.
