Since Klaus Schulze last CD (Le Moulin De Daudet) on SixSteps records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. Klaus Schulze’s debut, ‘Le Moulin De Daudet’, does not fit easily into one genre. This album has some very good songs like The Beginning, Delegates and Mother Sadness. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Le Moulin De Daudet.
When listening to Mother Sadness, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. The Loss of The Factory - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Klaus Schulze. Some of the arrangements found on Le Moulin De Daudet are surprisingly edgy. Fiday’s Departure one of the best in my collection. The first time I listened to The Mill of Maitre Cornille I was struck by its perfect sound. Although Maitre Cornille in The Fields is very melodic it is far from sad. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Nice and different song. Joy of Maitre Cornille, Garden & Youth (Reprise) is the first taste of the new album. Landscape, Way to The Old People is nothing but pure genius. Klaus Schulze offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Overall a nice softer song. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Le Moulin De Daudet is Exodus. Music and lyrics of La Petit Dauphin I creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Get Le Moulin De Daudet and turn on La Petit Dauphin II if you are going to sip your wine late at night. First Church Sequence - This is a very lively song. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Paradise & Inferno is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. This is one hell of a track.
