After seeing Spirit Of The Boogie, I had to have a good Kool and the Gang cd. ‘Spirit of the Boogie’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. I am not a real Jazz: Funk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Spirit of the Boogie’ really is amazing. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Ride The Rhythm
Ride The Rhythm - another great track from the Spirit of the Boogie album. Jungle Jazz - A catchy, upbeat tune. First time I heard Sunshine And Love was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Voice and instruments in Ancestral Ceremony complement each other. Music of Mother Earth is gentle, never overbearing. Winter Sadness is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Kool and the Gang has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
