This album has some very good songs like Salute To The Ladies and In The Hood. On State of Affairs album, Kool and the Gang have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. On the Japan charts, superstar Kool and the Gang’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Such great and happy songs.
The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I like Color Line because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Kool and the Gang is one of artists that allow his songs like Second Thoughts to stand on their own and be heard. Crabs In A Barrel the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Woman, Lover, Friend - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Game Of Love (4:22) a good melody. This track is full of harmonies and gets State of Affairs off to a relaxing start. You have to get essence of the Life In The 90’s’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. This is one hell of a track. My Body is another strong production from Kool and the Gang. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Reunited.
