Now signed to Kraftwerk’s ForeFront Records, the title track from second album “The Model” leads Kraftwerk’s back-to-school campaign. While no new Kraftwerk album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in North America. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Kraftwerk’s new album to that on ‘The Model’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I Love The Model from start to finish!
Best song on the album, love it. The Hall Of Mirrors is a great opener for The Model. Antenna (Single Edit) is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Kraftwerk released so far. Simple and heartfelt closing track The Model closes The Model on a high note. Trans Europe Express (Single) is another strong production from Kraftwerk. Metal On Metal make listening to Kraftwerk like being in some sort of time warp. I find myself hearing bits of The Robots (Single Edit) here and there throughout my waking hours.
