Since completing 1996’s ‘Govinda (Radio Mix)’, Kula Shaker fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Kula Shaker energies, virtually a rebirth. There is no doubt that Kula Shaker has talent. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Such hits like Gokula will leave you hooked. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Drop in the Sea have really caught my ear and imagination. Govinda (Monkey Mafia Pigsy’s Vision) is the albums biggest surprise. Govinda (Monkey Mafia Ten to Ten) is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track.
