While no new Labradford album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in Australia. This is the first studio album from Labradford since bad diagnosis in 1996. Since Labradford last CD (Labradford) on Savoy Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Voice and instruments in Midrance complement each other. Pico - My least favorite song on this album. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. I think Lake Speed is the best song Labradford has ever done. Labradford offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Labradford breathes new life into the music in Battered.
