This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Laserdance has. I am not a real Dance music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Laserdance Orchestra Vol.1′ really is amazing. Thom Yorke has compared writing for Laserdance’s new album to that on ‘Laserdance Orchestra Vol.1′ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Laserdance Orchestra Vol.1 is the best essence of Laserdance.
Oh Que Calor is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Please Stay With Me is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Song Goody’s Space Dream is actually a funny song. Power Run is pretty funky and mellow. Say You’ll Be Mine is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. After few listenings I started to like Feel So Fine more and more. From the moment you listen to Give Me Your Love you’re hooked. Crazy For Your Love is a bit different from Laserdance stereotypical stuff. Love Is The Reason is one of the best records ever. Laserd Ance Remix is the song that really did it for me. Open Your Eyes is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
