Self-described as Electronic: Progressive with lots of words, Lightwave comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Lead single “Uraniborg” and “Mapping The Sky” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It has been six years Lightwave’ last studio CD, “Tycho Brahe” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Tycho Brahe touched my soul like nothing else.
Mapping The Sky good vocals. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. The first time I listened to Fuga Stellarum I was struck by its cool sound. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Don’t judge Poetics Of The Sphere on the first listening. The Art Of Clockmakers has a fun tempo. Tycho On The Moon one is one of the better boring ones. I like Apogee because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming.
