This disc has all of the essential Lisa Franco classics. For older fans Romantic Dreams will put a massive smile accross your face. Self-described as Easy Listening with lots of words, Lisa Franco comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
If you are a Lisa Franco fan, you will love Quiet Harp. I find myself hearing bits of Healing Waves here and there throughout my waking hours. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Valley Winds is my favorite song on Romantic Dreams. Charming song, great melody. Shepherd’s Dream is the albums biggest surprise. Empty Rooms as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Don’t judge Friends on the first listening. Lonely Child is astounding. Breath of Wind - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Talking to Me is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside.
