When you buy a Loquillo y Los Trogloditas album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Companeros De Viaje CD2 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Lead single “No Volvere A Ser Joven” and “Me And Bobby Mcgee” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Such great and happy songs.
Me And Bobby Mcgee is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Companeros De Viaje CD2 have ended. This song stands out greatly from the others. Los Gatos Lo Sabran rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Loquillo y Los Trogloditas allows each song to breathe and flourish. Companeros De Viaje CD2 couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Brillar Y Brillar. John Milner is probably the most interesting track on Companeros De Viaje CD2. After you’ve listened to Balada Para Un Viejo Sombreo, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Listening to Caray you can hear that Loquillo y Los Trogloditas has still amazing chemistry with band members. Only one song from Companeros De Viaje CD2 named Un Hombre Puede Llorar really got me. Mientras Respiremos (4:44) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. I love the melodic melody of Simpatia Por Los Stones and to this day it makes me feel good. Al Limite - arguably the best track on Companeros De Viaje CD2 album. All of songs on Companeros De Viaje CD2 and have something to say letting alone Central Park.
