There is no doubt that Los Tigres del Norte has talent. This disc has all of the essential Los Tigres del Norte classics. Los Dos Plebes carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is what good Latin should be.
Mesa del Rincon - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Entre el Amor y Yo is simple, dignified and effective, Los Tigres del Norte refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. After few listenings I started to like Te Malpasan de Amor more and more. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Perdonen Mi Canto because the melody in the chorus is so good. Ultimo Atardecer pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Agua Salada is the song that really did it for me. Si No Me Falla el Corazon is gorgeous and different song. Muerte Anunciada is exquisite song though, very addictive. So much energy, so exciting a sound.No Me Quedare without a doubt is the standout song of Los Dos Plebes. Que Ganarias is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. No Los Tigres del Norte song has come close to capturing my attention as Sabas Lopez did. Album opener Asomate a Mi Copa is a bright, upbeat ditty.
