For older fans Blues Walk will put a massive smile accross your face. Blues Walk isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There were many famous songs of Lou Donaldson available. One of Lou Donaldson’s best albums yet.
Move is absolutely incredible. The Masquerade Is Over is another strong production from Lou Donaldson. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Play Ray, which shows, blatantly, how much Lou Donaldson has evolved as a singer. Autumn Nocturne is a very catchy tune. Callin All Cats is another favourite of mine.
