It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Lucid Dreams energies, virtually a rebirth. Since completing 1996’s ‘Lucidity’, Lucid Dreams fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Prelucid Dreams is a medium tempo tune. False Awakenings is simply perfect. Out-Of-The-Body Experiences is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Dream Control & Erotic Possibi is simple, dignified and effective, Lucid Dreams refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Achieving Lucidity sets the tone for the entire album. Health Warning is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Nightmares have really caught my ear and imagination. Extrasensory Perception is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Implications is the song that really did it for me.
