When you buy a Maat album, you know exactly what you’re getting! It has been twelve years Maat’ last studio CD, “Yacikaa” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Maat’s debut, ‘Yacikaa’, does not fit easily into one genre. Maat “Yacikaa” is an amazing album.
Track02 is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Track03 is astounding. The song Track04 ending is my favorite… so catchy! If you are a Maat fan, you will love Track05. Track06 is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. I’ve found myself listening to Track07 back to back and back many times. Track08 hits the heart. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Track10 - A classic Maat track. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Track11. Track12 is pretty funky and mellow. Track13 is the first taste of the new album. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Track15 is nothing but pure genius.
