While no new Mad Professor album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in South America. Evolution Of Dub: Black Liberation Dub, Chapter 3 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. When you buy a Mad Professor album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is my first Mad Professor Album and i must say i am blown away.
This is probably my favorite song on the album. In KUNTE 96 it becomes nowhere more obvious that Mad Professor has yet to define own style. This is one hell of a track. When listening to KATHMANDU DUB, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Music in GRINGO DREAD is amazing as in all tracks of Evolution Of Dub: Black Liberation Dub, Chapter 3. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. VILLAGE GOSSIP is the funkiest number on the album. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. KIWI CULTURE actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Mad Professor’s face.
