three years ago, Mantaray briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Omniscient”. This disc has all of the essential Mantaray classics. IF YOU LIKE ALL Mantaray’S SONG GO FOR IT! Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Omniscient - A nice song. Auric Field gives good insight into the truths. Looking Glass is such a exquisite and optimistic song that things can get just better. Only one song from Numinous Island named Mountain Priest really got me. In Messenger of the Gods it becomes nowhere more obvious that Mantaray has yet to define own style. Floating Chrysanthemum is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Mantaray released so far. The song Remote Ritual ending is my favorite… so catchy! Ancestral Echo makes a person feel gorgeous. The song feels complete. Ascension - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. I think The Undiscovered Tribe is the best song Mantaray has ever done. Album opener Pilgrimage is a bright, upbeat ditty. This track is full of harmonies and gets Numinous Island off to a relaxing start. Tantric Vines is a fine track on any terms. Koori Dream Spirits is the exquisite blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Such hits like Clairvoyance will leave you hooked. Anima Mundi is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. A fantastic track full of wonder. I listened to the opening track Departure and liked it a lot.
