It has been nine years Mark Farina’ last studio CD, “Seasons One” which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. There is so much to love about Mark Farina, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Mark Farina on ‘95 North feat Sabrynaah Pope - My Life (urban jazz deep ass dub)’. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Mark Farina ever.
Popeye - Disco 2000 is worth the money. Kerri Chandler - Two is probably the highlight of the album. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Tranquil Elephantizer - Nu Slo Dub (Crispin J Glover mix) - arguably the best track on Seasons One album. Paper Music Issue One - Downtime is Mark Farina’s best work in years. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. RMA feat. Dick Shelly & Daniel Powell - Past good vocals. Michael Vincent - Where Do People Go is a marvelous sing-along. Tuff Jam - I Got You is a exquisite, simple song by Mark Farina at the top of his game. Sound Experience - Find Love (vocal mix) marked the continuation of Mark Farina in style evolution. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Johnny Fiasco - Deepstate is my favorite song on Seasons One.
