After debuting at No. 1 last week, Masterboy’s album Different Dreams falls to No. 2 with 704,000, a sales slide of 96%. This thirteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Masterboy has. Since Masterboy last CD (Different Dreams) on ForeFront Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. One of Masterboy’s best albums yet.
Different Dreams hits the heart. I Got To Give It Up is a great opener for Different Dreams. Everybody Needs Somebody - To me, this is the best song on the Different Dreams. I like the agression and power of Is This The Love. Masterboy Theme (The Thiro; ‘94) is probably one of Masterboy’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. And I Need You is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. When I listen to Feel The Heat Of The Night in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Do You Wanna Dance is the albums biggest surprise. No Way Out (Outro) is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Strong, powerful vocals of Masterboy in I Got To Give It Up (Guitana Mix) are very impressive. Feel The Heat Of The Night (Shark Mix) - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Masterboy.
