Maiden Voyage is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Willie Nillie is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Maynard Ferguson ever produced. Put Hymn To Her into car stereo for your highway driving Best song on the album, love it. Can’t We Talk It Over ? is possibly the best song Maynard Ferguson has come up. First time I heard Egad, Martha was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.I can’t stop humming along Dancing Nitely. The first time I listened to The Lamp Is Low I was struck by its astounding sound. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Pork Pie one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Never You Mind as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Moonlight In Vermont - To me, this is the best song on the Verve Jazz Masters 52. Easy To Love is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Wildman marked the continuation of Maynard Ferguson in style evolution.
