It has been four years Metal - Various Artists’ last studio CD, “Liers In Wait - Slatanic Slaughter II (Tribute)” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Metal - Various Artists. On Liers In Wait - Slatanic Slaughter II (Tribute) album, Metal - Various Artists have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Necrophiliac (Benediction)
Necrophiliac (Benediction) pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Epidemic (Coffin Man) is a astounding song and it grows on you. Hell Awaits (Cradle Of Filth) is one of the more up-tempo songs on Liers In Wait - Slatanic Slaughter II (Tribute). I like Seasons In The Abyss (Disaffected) because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Angel Of Death (Liers In Wait) is nothing but pure genius. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Metal - Various Artists. Only one song from Liers In Wait - Slatanic Slaughter II (Tribute) named Raining Blood (Malevolent Creation) really got me. I think Die By The Sword (Necrophobic) is the best song Metal - Various Artists has ever done. Praise Of Death (Sinister) is a fine track on any terms. Dead Skin Mask (Unanimated) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Silent Scream (Vader) is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track.
