While no new Metal - Various Artists album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1996 tour in South America. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Metal - Various Artists’s album Luciferion - Slatanic Slaughter II (Tribute) falls to No. 2 with 216,000, a sales slide of 52%. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Metal - Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. If you want to hear real Metal, get this record now!
Listening to Necrophiliac (Benediction) you can hear that Metal - Various Artists has still amazing chemistry with band members. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. One listen to the sheer beauty of Hell Awaits (Cradle Of Filth) was all I needed. Only one song from Luciferion - Slatanic Slaughter II (Tribute) named Seasons In The Abyss (Disaffected) really got me. This track is clearly meant to showcase Metal - Various Artists’s vocal abilities. Chemical Warfare (Luciferion) is a gorgeous sing-along. In Raining Blood (Malevolent Creation) Metal - Various Artists is at his best. Die By The Sword (Necrophobic) is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. The sound of Dead Skin Mask (Unanimated) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Silent Scream (Vader) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Metal - Various Artists is all about.
