This is the first studio album from Metal - Various Artists since bad diagnosis in 1996. After seeing Read Between The Lies (Anathema), I had to have a good Metal - Various Artists cd. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Metal - Various Artists’s album Malevolent Creation - Slatanic Slaughter II (Tribute) falls to No. 2 with 685,000, a sales slide of 70%. Another great offering from Metal - Various Artists.
Necrophiliac (Benediction) is probably the most interesting track on Malevolent Creation - Slatanic Slaughter II (Tribute). Epidemic (Coffin Man) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Hell Awaits (Cradle Of Filth) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Seasons In The Abyss (Disaffected) - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. I believe Angel Of Death (Liers In Wait) is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. I was truly moved when I heard Chemical Warfare (Luciferion). Raining Blood (Malevolent Creation) makes a person feel cool. Musically Die By The Sword (Necrophobic) is superior to other tracks in Malevolent Creation - Slatanic Slaughter II (Tribute). Praise Of Death (Sinister) (4:51) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. When I listen to Silent Scream (Vader) in my car when traffic ain’t going so good.
