After seeing You See Throught Me, I had to have a good Michael Gira cd. Since completing 1995’s ‘You See Throught Me’, Michael Gira fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Where Does Your Body Begin is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Michael Gira released so far. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer. Unreal is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Get Drainland and turn on Fan Letter if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Best song on the album, love it. Charming song, great melody. I loved If You … the first time I heard it. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Why I Ate My Wife, which shows, blatantly, how much Michael Gira has evolved as a singer. Blind is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Michael Gira ever produced.
