It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Michael Kiske energies, virtually a rebirth. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Michael Kiske’s new album to that on ‘Instant Clarity’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Michael Kiske was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Michael Kiske and Instant Clarity together. Instant Clarity constantly brilliant.
After you’ve listened to The Calling, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Blew our minds when we first heard Somebody Somewhere. Overall a nice softer song. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Hunted is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Always is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Time’s Passing By is the amazing blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. So Sick is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. I believe Do I Remember A Life is one of the most gorgeous, heartfelt songs ever written.
