Self-described as Instrumental with lots of words, Michael Shrieve comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. After seeing Sam The Man, I had to have a good Michael Shrieve cd. While no new Michael Shrieve album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in Europe. Michael Shrieve is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Tell Me Everything is cool song though, very addictive. Michael Shrieve allows each song to breathe and flourish. In The Glass Tent full palet of sound is used by Michael Shrieve to accentuate the presentation. Fascination without a doubt is the standout song of Fascination. One Nation Invisible is a cool sing-along. I like the idea behind The Great Ambassador. One listen to the sheer beauty of Living With The Law was all I needed. Simple and heartfelt closing track Jig Saw closes Fascination on a high note. Soundings In Fathoms as a highlight of Fascination contains a ton of cool melodies.
