‘Marvellous’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Michel Petrucciani was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Michel Petrucciani and Marvellous together. Lead single “Manhattan” and “Charlie Brown” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is in perfect progression from Michel Petrucciani!
This is one hell of a track. Even Mice Dance - Michel Petrucciani first major hit. Opening track Why shows the best of Michel Petrucciani. Album opener Hidden Joy is a bright, upbeat ditty. Shooting Stars - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. You Are My Waltz - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Dumb Breaks the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Michel Petrucciani sings 92’s Last in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Besame Mucho from the beginning to the end.
