There is so much to love about Michel Sardou, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Now signed to Michel Sardou’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Olympia 95″ leads Michel Sardou’s back-to-school campaign. IF YOU LIKE ALL Michel Sardou’S SONG GO FOR IT! I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Music in Deja Vu is astounding as in all tracks of Olympia 95. Parlons de Toi, de Moi - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. I have all of Michel Sardou’s tracks and Deux ecoles is probably the most his introspective effort. En Chantant is the first taste of the new album. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Olympia 95 is 1965. Verdun is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Selon Que Vous Serez, Etc., Etc. is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Je Vais T’Aimer - I like this one. Monde Ou Tu Vas is the most memorable and excellent. Strong, powerful vocals of Michel Sardou in Marie-Jeanne are very impressive. Once Privilege gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Ma Premiere Femme, Ma Femme very upbeat. Vladimir Ilitch is a very catchy tune. Putain de Temps is pretty funky and mellow. Best song on the album, love it. Bac G. without a doubt is the standout song of Olympia 95. Rouge is a cool song and it grows on you. Mefie-Toi on T’Aime is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Voice and instruments in Elle en Aura Besoin Plus Tart complement each other. Autre Femme is really the reason why I recommend buying Olympia 95. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Michel Sardou. Musulmanes is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Afrique Adieu is so unique, as each one of the songs is.
