Self-described as Dance with lots of words, MOBY comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Since MOBY last CD (Rare: The Collected B-Sides 1989-1993 (CD 1)) on Virgin Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. MOBY’s debut, ‘Rare: The Collected B-Sides 1989-1993 (CD 1)’, does not fit easily into one genre. I wish that “Rare: The Collected B-Sides 1989-1993 (CD 1)” album was instrumental.
Next Is The E (Club Mix) is almost impossible to review. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. In Have You Seen My Baby? (Baby Mix) full palet of sound is used by MOBY to accentuate the presentation. UHF 2 (5:01) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Time’s Up (Dust Mix) has a fun tempo. Drop A Beat (Deep Mix) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. MOBY must have run out of lyrics on the next track Mobility (Aqua Mix). I Feel It (Synthe Mix) presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Rare: The Collected B-Sides 1989-1993 (CD 1). Thousand good vocals.
