M.O.D. was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from M.O.D. and Love By Thousands… Hated By Millions together. M.O.D. had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. On the England charts, superstar M.O.D.’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
I have all of M.O.D.’s tracks and Aren’t You Hungry is probably the most his introspective effort. Spandex Enormity is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Hate Tank is nothing but pure genius. Goldfish can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what M.O.D. is all about. I believe Surfin’ Usa is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. From the moment you listen to Surf’s Up you’re hooked. A unique and uplifting song. No Glove No Love rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. I love the melodic melody of True Colors and to this day it makes me feel good. Livin’ In The City - A catchy, upbeat tune. Get Up and Dance is a song to enjoy for years to come. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Rhymestein. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Rally is a good listen every once in a while. The Ballad Of Dio - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Bubble Butt is absolutely incredible. Short Byt Sweet is perfect. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Ode To Harry from the beginning to the end. Although Vents is very melodic it is far from sad. Theme Song is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track M.O.D. ever produced. Bonanza (2:44) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Backshoot Blues pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Clubbin’ Seals good vocals. Us Dreams is a striking and quite long song. He’s Dead Jim stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Get The Boot as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. I like to sing along with Color My World, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes.
