This nine-song debut EP shows the promise that Mortification has. Now signed to Mortification’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “EnVision EvAngelene” leads Mortification’s back-to-school campaign. Since completing 1996’s ‘Buried into Obscurity’, Mortification fulfilled their contract with SixSteps records and where under no obligation to release another album. If you love Mortification as much as I do, then Mortification EnVision EvAngelene is the CD for you!
The first time I listened to Chapel of Hope I was struck by its astounding sound. A great put together song. EnVision EvAngelene in 8 parts - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Jehovah Nissi presents the exquisite mix of instruments on EnVision EvAngelene. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Noah was a Knower because the melody in the chorus is so good. When I listen to Nothern Storm in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
