Covers (Live) is an amazing album, racked with beauty. Now signed to Mr. Bungle’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Covers (Live)” leads Mr. Bungle’s back-to-school campaign. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Mr. Bungle energies, virtually a rebirth. IF you love Mr. Bungle, ‘Covers (Live)’ Mp3’s is the best!
After about the third !My Name Is Not Merv Griffin listen through, I began to believe this song is Mr. Bungle’s essence. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. 3rd Floor Dungeon (Frederick Hollander & Dr Seuss) is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Mr. Bungle released so far. A Taste Of Honey (Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass) is a song to enjoy for years to come. Ain’t Talkin’ ’bout Love (Van Halen) on Covers (Live) is solid and easy to listen to. Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life (Monty Python) (2:49) a good melody. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Around The World (The Red Hot Chili Peppers). This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Bases Loaded (Nintendo) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Covers (Live). Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Begin The Beguine (Sammy Davis Jr). Bring The Noise (Public Enemy & Anthrax) is the more seemingly obscure song on Covers (Live) that bear up best to repeated listening. Careless Whispers (Wham) - A strong beat. Mr. Bungle must have run out of lyrics on the next track Casanova 70 (Armando Trovajoli). Citta Violenta (Ennio Morricone) (2:11) - awsome. Cold War (Siege) is a great opener for Covers (Live). It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Der Zinker (Peter Thomas) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. I love the melodic melody of Dirty Movies (Van Halen) and to this day it makes me feel good. I like Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me (Elton John) because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Album opener Doo Wop (That Thing) (Lauren Hill) is a bright, upbeat ditty. Dr. Feelgood (Motley Crue) is a strong cut, one of many. Drug Me (Dead Kennedys) is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Give It Away (The Red Hot Chili Peppers) is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. I Don’t Need Society (D.R.I.) without a doubt is the standout song of Covers (Live). Say My Name (Destiny’s Child) - This is a very lively song.
