Since Mu-Ziq last CD (Bluff Limbo) on Sparrow Records back in 1994, I have felt a massive void in my life. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Mu-Ziq’s new album to that on ‘Bluff Limbo’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There is no doubt that Mu-Ziq has talent. Unappreciated gift to Electronic
Commemorative Pasta is a good listen every once in a while. The sound in Gob Bots is really warm and Mu-Ziq’s signature voice is still very much present. The Wheel can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Mu-Ziq is all about. 27 is really the reason why I recommend buying Bluff Limbo. Metal Thing 3 marked the continuation of Mu-Ziq in style evolution. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Best song on the album, love it. Zombies is the more seemingly obscure song on Bluff Limbo that bear up best to repeated listening. Mu-Ziq emotions are reflected through Riostand. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Sick Porter is one of these floating songs. Sick Porter is a very catchy tune. Voice and instruments in Dance 2 complement each other. Nettle and Pralines gives taste of what makes Mu-Ziq special as a musician. Ethereal Murmurings I just LOVE this mix!
