This -song debut EP shows the promise that Muslimgauze has. It’s natural for Muslimgauze to take a stab at ‘The Eternal Illusionist Of Old Baghdad’ considering her long-professed love for Paul Oakenfold. This is the first studio album from Muslimgauze since bad diagnosis in 1996. Last Hot Album by Muslimgauze
The Ottoman Muzeum Of Cherished Momentos is probably one of Muslimgauze’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. The Dead Sea Indego Net on Izlamaphobia (Disc 2) is solid and easy to listen to. The Nile Is Blue Around Elephantine Island to me is the best you can get from Muslimgauze. Best song on the album, love it. Listening to The Public Flogger Of Lahore you can hear that Muslimgauze has still amazing chemistry with band members. The Emir Of Aqua is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Vocals of Muslimgauze in The Handless Of Bazaars really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. I can’t stop humming along The Ganges Swimmer. The Hanging Judge Of Iran is one of these floating songs. The first time I listened to The Poisoner Of Citrus I was struck by its gorgeous sound. If you are a Muslimgauze fan, you will love The Limb Amputator Of Rinadh. I like The Iraqi Who Grew Orchids because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Muslimgauze sings The Female Guard Of Libya in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. The Sari Of Cholera - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Muslimgauze. The Syrian Majishan is another favourite of mine. The Broken Radio Of Istanbul Station is probably the highlight of the album. This track is clearly meant to showcase Muslimgauze’s vocal abilities.
