This is one of the best Cd’s Muslimgauze has dropped to date. I am not a real Industrial music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Maroon’ really is amazing. Self-described as Industrial with lots of words, Muslimgauze comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. If you love Muslimgauze as much as I do, then Muslimgauze Maroon is the CD for you!
You have to get essence of the Thimble Cups Of Urdu’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Maroon Of Gaza have really caught my ear and imagination. Harem Of Dogs is a song to enjoy for years to come. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Blood Of Salah Jadallah - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Maroon is Stars Of Golan Heights. Listening to Blood Of Salah Jadallah you can hear that Muslimgauze has still amazing chemistry with band members.
