Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Mychael Danna on ‘Exotica’. Mychael Danna was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Mychael Danna and Exotica together. There is so much to love about Mychael Danna, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Enjoy the show.
Something Hidden - A strong beat. I can’t stop humming along Dilkotamay Huay. Mychael Danna sings Field 1, Field 2 in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Pagan Song is really the reason why I recommend buying Exotica. The Kiss catches attention immediately, Inside Me - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I listened to the opening track A Little Touch and liked it a lot. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Field 4 good vocals. Mujay Yaad has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. All of songs on Exotica and have something to say letting alone The Ride Home.
