It has been twelve years Natalie MacMaster’ last studio CD, “Fit As A Fiddle” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. On the France charts, superstar Natalie MacMaster’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. twelve years ago, Natalie MacMaster briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “My Dungannon Sweetheart”. This is my first Natalie MacMaster Album and i must say i am blown away.
It’s a great pleasure to listen to My Dungannon Sweetheart from the beginning to the end. Carnival March is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. In Nancy’s Waltz you won’t find any flashy solos. In Compliments To Sean Maguire Natalie MacMaster spins a tale you want to hear to the end. 1997 which is my favorite is a truly Natalie MacMaster sounding song. Music of Jean’s Reel is gentle, never overbearing. Put I’ll Always Remember You into car stereo for your highway driving |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. The Rakes Of Kildare is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. A fantastic track full of wonder. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Natalie MacMaster has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
