eleven years ago, Nirvana briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Drain You”. Lead single “Radio Friendly Unit Shifter” and “Drain You” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. It has been eleven years Nirvana’ last studio CD, “Palasport, Modena, IT” which won Array Academy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Exciting stuff.
This is probably my favorite song on the album. Serve The Servants - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This is one hell of a track. This song may be the most meaningful. Dumb is probably the highlight of the album. In Bloom - A classic Nirvana track. Album opener Lithium is a bright, upbeat ditty. Territorial Pissings gives good insight into the truths. It’s a great pleasure to listen to The Man Who Sold The World from the beginning to the end. Scentless Apprentice - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Heart-Shaped Box is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart.
