There is no doubt that NOFX has talent. IF YOU LIKE ALL NOFX’S SONG GO FOR IT! eight years ago, NOFX briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Bob (Live)”. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Bob (Live) without a doubt is the standout song of I Heard They Suck Live. Buggley Eyes (Live) - This one makes me want to not only sing along. East Bay (1:54) a good melody. Intro is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. NOFX allows each song to breathe and flourish. Opening track Linoleum (Live) shows the best of NOFX. Moron Brothers is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through I Heard They Suck Live. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Nothing But A Nightmare is my favorite song on I Heard They Suck Live. Nowhere (Live) is a good listen every once in a while. This song may be the most meaningful. Punk Guy (Live) to me is the best you can get from NOFX. Six Pack Girls (Live) marked the continuation of NOFX in style evolution. Soul Doubt (Live) is exquisite song though, very addictive. The Brews (Live) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track NOFX ever produced. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Together On The Sand (Live) from the beginning to the end. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in I Heard They Suck Live. This song is dynamic and dramatic.
