Since completing 1995’s ‘N.P.G. Operator Intro’, N.P.G. fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. N.P.G. was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from N.P.G. and Exodus together. IF YOU LIKE ALL N.P.G.’S SONG GO FOR IT! If you love N.P.G. as much as I do, then N.P.G. Exodus is the CD for you!
Get Wild - I like this one. Segue (1) makes a person feel excellent. This song is dynamic and dramatic. The song New Power Soul ending is my favorite… so catchy! DJ Seduces Sonny has a fun tempo. Segue (2) - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Count the Days I just LOVE this mix! The song feels complete. Cherry Cherry is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. N.P.G. must have run out of lyrics on the next track Segue (3). Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Mashed Potato Girl Intro - To me, this is the best song on the Exodus. Segue (4) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Nice and different song. New Power Day is the most memorable and exquisite. Segue (5) which is my favorite is a truly N.P.G. sounding song. Hallucination Rain sets the tone for the entire album. When listening to NPG Bum Rush the Ship, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. The Exodus Has Begun is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Outro one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard.
