I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Night Song’ really is amazing. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Michael Brook’s debut, ‘Night Song’, does not fit easily into one genre. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Michael Brook’s album Night Song falls to No. 2 with 253,000, a sales slide of 63%. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Intoxicated which is my favorite is a truly Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Michael Brook sounding song. Lament rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Michael Brook emotions are reflected through My Comfort Remains. Longing actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Michael Brook’s face. Sweet Pain has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Michael Brook’s strong vocals come to the fore. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Crest is beautiful, yet underrated track.
