I am not a real Ethnic music type of person, but i have to admit ‘My Soul (Kol Haneshama)’ really is amazing. After seeing By The Length Of The Sea, I had to have a good Ofra Haza cd. On the India charts, superstar Ofra Haza’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is The Spirit Of Man
This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Music and lyrics of It Will Come Suddenly creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. The Complete Soul marked the continuation of Ofra Haza in style evolution. After you’ve listened to One Child, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. A Million hits the heart. By The Well Of My Birthplace is amazing song though, very addictive. When I Was Yours is really a nice song to relax and listen too. When You Come is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. A Man In This World is really the reason why I recommend buying My Soul (Kol Haneshama). Your Body Dances In My Dream is simple, dignified and effective, Ofra Haza refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more.
