Ivan Grach has compared writing for Ordo Equitum Solis’s new album to that on ‘Hecate’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Ordo Equitum Solis was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Ordo Equitum Solis and Hecate together. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ordo Equitum Solis energies, virtually a rebirth. Hecate is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
The Secret Hope Of F. is one of these floating songs. Desiderio is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Hecate. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Argentea Imago (3:40) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Opening track Les Nuits De l’Ame shows the best of Ordo Equitum Solis. The Haughtiness Of F. is a astounding, simple song by Ordo Equitum Solis at the top of his game. This track is full of harmonies and gets Hecate off to a relaxing start. A Reflection is one of the more up-tempo songs on Hecate. Blew our minds when we first heard The Springs And The Stone. The Crossroads - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
