It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Ornette Coleman energies, virtually a rebirth. This album has some very good songs like Folk Tale and Poise. After seeing Folk Tale, I had to have a good Ornette Coleman cd. This album is awesome.
A great put together song. This is one hell of a track. First Take is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. If you are a Ornette Coleman fan, you will love Free Jazz.
