It has been nine years Ottmar Liebert’ last studio CD, “Opium - Dreaming” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. After seeing Serenity On Ultracloud, I had to have a good Ottmar Liebert cd. When you buy a Ottmar Liebert album, you know exactly what you’re getting! IF you love Ottmar Liebert, ‘Opium - Dreaming’ Mp3’s is the best!
Yasmeen one of the best in my collection. Lyrics of Ayer-el Ultimo Dia De Palabra are precise and evocative. Old Man On The Citadel is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Ottmar Liebert. Te Siento - I like this one. Song Freedom (4 Lobsang Samten…) is actually a funny song. Buleria De Las Golondrinas is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. La Acequia Madre to me is the best you can get from Ottmar Liebert. Chama 2 Santa Fe - Okay, I just talked about depth. Chi-wahwah Beauty is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Drop Of Water On A Dry Stone is a bit of a show-tune. In Slow Burn - Pain + Pleasure Ottmar Liebert spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Bluedreamdrops make listening to Ottmar Liebert like being in some sort of time warp. Ripple - Window Over Water (4 Darryl Reanney…) marked the continuation of Ottmar Liebert in style evolution. The Blink Of An I Contains Eternity (4 Mother…) sets the tone for the entire album. This song stands out greatly from the others. Opium presents the amazing mix of instruments on Opium - Dreaming.
